Cleaning & Pretreatment

Militex has a variety of cleaning and pretreatment options for various substrates and the capability to process high volume and large, heavy parts. Our Quality Assurance department has maintained an impeccable record for thirty years. We have a 99.5% approval rate while producing hundreds of thousands of parts per year.

Our Capabilities

We can clean and pretreat ferrous and non-ferrous parts:

Ferrous

Zinc phosphate with a 7-stage spray line
Various zinc primers

Non-Ferrous

Alodine 5200 with a 4-stage immersion line
Alodine 5700 spray
Bonderite 871 or Bonderite 1200 touch-up

Both Ferrous and Non-Ferrous

Sandblasting to SSPC standards with aluminum oxide or plastic blast
- We have 5 blasters – 4 for small and medium parts and 1 for large components or vehicle hulls with a component capacity up to 20,000 pounds.
Power washing
- We have a small wash bay and a large wash bay that can accommodate vehicles to apply rust inhibitors.
Solvent cleaning or specialty customer requirements
